Cameron McDiven has spent over 19 years helping organisations remain relevant and sustainable in a rapidly changing world. Trained at the Swinburne University National School of Design in Melbourne, he worked initially within design and advertising agencies in Melbourne and Perth working on everything from stamps and wine labels to corporate accounts such as Allens Arthur Robinson, Pacific Brands, BankWest, the Fremantle Dockers, WaterCorp, Western Power and RAC.

In 2005, he began consulting directly to clients across Australia and overseas, working on industries, including sport, community services, consumer FMCG, finance, government, forestry, education, resources, and health.

Cameron helps businesses control their brand to:

  • Align stakeholders around one strategic direction
  • Enter new markets or offer new products to existing markets
  • Transition to a new price point
  • Defend revenues from competitive pressures
  • Attract investors and partners
  • Shape new team behaviours
  • Achieve consistency of communication

He is often called upon to assist organisations to communicate a changing business model in the face of new opportunities, competitive pressures or technological change. Cameron works also with startup businesses seeking to frame their pitch for the first time, and build a following.

Cameron is passionate about the power of collaboration to drive social change. When not working with clients, he is engaged in developing NEXTi; a program to assist young entrepreneurs on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. He is currently planning SUMMIT17, a Youth Innovation Summit with Edith Cowan University to be held in Perth, Western Australia in July 2017. He is also a member of the Loreto Nedlands School Board.
